Refund control at Order Type level

I like that we can select how original orders are “marked as picked up or no shipping required” at the POS Profile level however, some of our order types don’t have a corresponding POS profile (i.e. cluborder) but I’d still like to tell refunds of these types of orders how to handle the original order’s shipping status. Can this control be given at the order type level as well as POS profile level? Or instead of?
