Project Inventory demand by wine choice in User Choice Club?

I am trying to find out how much wine I need to transfer to Fulfillment center and tasting room for the Demand of members in my User Choice club… HELP? What report can I run that shows this Estimate by wine type?

If you need an estimate, there’s no report that does that. You’ll have to base an estimate on your history. If you need actual sales counts, Sales Detail X and then a pivot table to get totals for each SKU for pickup yes/no is how I do it.

So No way to download a report that tells you what wine selections they are making? Would have to go Order by order (285 of them) and start entering into an excel file then… something like that right?

I switched over to User Choice and they have been making changes to what I put in as an allocation for them.

Guess maybe I could try to figure out Who has made changes and start calling them up one by one and adding to an Excel file.

Daunting…. any other ideas?

I am also trying to make projections for our user choice club. We need to know how much will be required for this fall’s shipment. On the cellar side, it will also be useful for us to have a good idea of quantities so that we can adjust production appropriately. And really, we need this for both our traditional club shipments in the spring and our user choice club in the fall. Unfortunately, this fall will be our first user choice shipment, so we have no previous sales data to rely upon. Any other ideas?

My observation the first time around when we went to User Choice was that Not Many took advantage of the Option. Thus no real dent in inventory vs. what we planned previously. Guessing as time goes by more will catch on that they can make changes and will do so. Granted we really Pushed that THEY must go online and make the changes. We feared that we’d get Slammed with calls, emails and the like to do all the work. Yes… they called and emailed but it wasn’t many and the rest who Cared… learned to Log In… and use the system as is. The system as is could use some tweaking to be more customer friendly and same for us as the winery. But it worked… Jump In… you’ll be fine. :slight_smile: I say without it being my problem.
