3rd party referral links in newsletters

We would like to run a referral link promotion for our email subscribers. Can 3rd party referral links be integrated? Has anybody tried this?

Define “integrated.”

There are certain ways you can hack this in, or build on their existing API, but there are no built-in tools to connect third-party referral platforms.

Thanks for the response, By integrated I mean placing a 3rd party widget inside the newsletter.

If you are speaking specifically of email newsletters, you can’t really embed javascript in any email, but you can certainly put a link in there.
