Email report on "More" links followed

I send out newsletter emails with truncated articles, all of which have an identical-looking “More” link to the website for the entire article. The problem comes when I want to find out how many people were interested in what topic from the newsletter. I can use Email Reports, but there are multiple entries for a More link, andI have no idea which refers to which article. Any ideas? Should I assume that the first “More” link is for the first article? It would be really great to have another column entry in the report for the destination of that link!

A workaround is to vary your titles slightly.

More
More…
For more

etc.

Yes, it just bugs me to have to find six different ways to say “more”, and it ruins the aesthetics of the email. I just thought of something, however: I’ll bet I I could do the “.” and “…” and “…” in the same color as the background so no one would ever see it.

Just tested it out, and it works like a charm!
