Where are you from? I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and lived there until I was 10.
How did you end up at Vin65? I heard about it off a Craigslist ad!
Can you tell us about your lucrative poker-playing career? Yeah haha, I played poker for a living before Vin65 for about 6 years - it was great! I played mostly online, 6-max ZOOM Poker on Pokerstars.
You give awesome weekly seminars, what have been your favorite Vin65 features to proselytize? Our User Choice Club tool is pretty sweet and I think most wine clubs should be user choice. With other subscription services providing customer/members with flexibility to customize their shipments, wine clubs should allow for the same freedom.

Favorite travel destination not named Capilano Suspension Bridge? Granville Island is pretty cool. It’s a really artsy and hipster part of Vancouver. It’s very Pacific Northwestern.
Who do you sit next to at work and how bad is their taste in music? I sit in the same cluster as Sean and Brennan. Neither of them listen to music at work, but we do play things like rain forest and whale sounds to help us relax. (srs)

Everyone folds around and you wake up in the small blind with rockets. You raise and the big blind who is weak-tight re-raises. You smooth call. The flop comes K-9-2 rainbow. You check and the big blind shoves. What do you do?

Whats the weirdest thing you’ve tried to sous vide? I’ve sous vide a whole slab of pork belly. It was delicious, right?
Whats your favorite in starter hand in poker? Pocket Aces! It’s at least an 80% favorite against any other hand.

Don’t any of you people actually drink wine? We love wine; I would say on average we open 2-3 bottles a week.
Everyone folds around and you wake up in the small blind with rockets. You raise and the big blind who is weak-tight re-raises. You smooth call. The flop comes K-9-2 rainbow. You check and the big blind shoves. What do you do? Preflop, you should reraise again almost always against someone weak-tight. When weak tight players re-raise, they probably have something pretty good and will be willing to get it all in preflop, so reraising him again would be optimal here. But as played, it would be an easy call. He’s most likely going to show up with AK, which you are crushing.

Do you know how to count cards? Lunch and learn? You don’t count cards in poker, that’s black jack. Poker is more about logic than math.
Can you give us more details about your PokeVin Go business idea? Every Vin65 winery is a gym or a stop. You can increase your XP by doing tastings or tours. You can take control of a gym if you have a high XP but I am still not sure what a battle would look like.
