I hope that one day soon– in my lifetime perhaps, plants and people will peacefully coexist.
- How do you think your life might have been different if Richard III had won?
Other than having had to read something else during second period English class, probably very similar.
- Why do you think Vin65 is letting us have a crack at a real programmer other than @Karson?
I see myself as more of a Naturalist than a programmer, really, but who’s keeping track. @lucas_klaassen has already volunteered for a redo!
- When will Vin65 start paying you enough so that you can enjoy something more substantial than breadsticks?
That’s a technical impossibility, as It’s common knowledge that everything is either Soup, Salad, or Breadsticks. Of the three, Breadsticks wins every time.
- That said: Porterhouse, New York, or Rib Eye?
Porterhouse. I like to pretend the cow made the T-bone just for me.
- Gin, vodka, or tequila?
Vodka is versatile, but tequila always leads to fun times. It’s a tie.
- Baby back ribs, St Louis ribs, or brisket?
Partial to baby back ribs, but I think very highly of all ribs. Ribs > Bacon
- Speaking of magnets, can you explain the right-hand rule in simple terms?
I will let the Insane Clown Posse do so for me.
- Which assembly languages have you programmed in?
x86 assembly with the AT&T syntax. Been playing around with an Apple II emulator lately though, so may delve into 6502 assembly on some random weekend this year.
- Name one piece of software you wrote or helped write that you are especially proud of.
Worked on a sweet charting library that UNESCO and the OECD are using right now for stats visualization, that one was fun.

Steve from Blue’s Clues would be the obvious answer. The less obvious answer would be Batman.
2] When did you decide that programming was the life for you?
When I finally realized that academia wasn’t a good fit.

Never met them, but they both seem great!!

Not yet, I’ll need to get in on @kelton’s next shipment!

I don’t own a mouse.

As someone descended from Romania, how hard was it to integrate into Canada as a vampire?
Pretty easy since Vancouver is dark and rainy for most of the year.

Heard about it from a friend-of-a-friend who knew Edward from Twilight.
You mentioned having a wall decorated by t̶r̶o̶p̶h̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶v̶i̶c̶t̶i̶m̶s̶ different receipts from your travels… doesn’t this clash with the rustic design of your coffin?
