I need to redo my shipping prices and create zones. I currently have them set up “central UPS Ground” “East” and “west”.
What is the best way to have the shipping carriers and options set up? Create a new strategy for each: “UPS Ground Zone 3”, etc?

You shouldn’t need a new strategy for each zone.
I have two strategies: “UPS Wine” as my default, and “UPS merch” for anything not requiring an adult signature. Within each strategy you can set the shipping types for Ground, Air, Overnight etc. and the Zones independently.
Question for you Ryan. For your ups merch shipping strategy do you have it set up by the lb. ? As retail items weigh different amounts. Say a logo wine glass and a logo cork screw is going to be different. How did you set it up in the system?

I have my merchandise strategy set up by number of units. Orders of 1 to 5 items are $5 to ship ground, $10 for air. And I have that set to wrap for any orders above 5 items.
