Formatting of zip codes when exporting Business Locations

When I export my Business Locations to update my master list, the zip codes show up like this, ="08401

Anyone else experience this? And how can I either prevent that from happening, or correct it in Excel without having to go one by one removing the =" characters?

Hmmm… send in the report to the support team - we’ll investigate for you as well.

Is it for every zip code or only ones starting with 0?

For the time being, you can probably do either of these relatively easily:

  1. Highlight Zip code column in Excel
  2. Ctrl-C (windows) (copy)
  3. Alt-E-S-V (windows) (paste special, values)
  4. Then it will be 08401

OR

  1. Highlight Zip Code column in Excel
  2. Ctrl-F (windows) (find)
  3. Alt-p or just click “Replace” tab.
  4. Replace ="0 with 0
  5. Replace ="00 with 00
  6. Replace ="000 with 000
  7. Replace ="0000 with 0000
