Free Shipping w/ No Discount Item

So I offer free shipping on orders of $75 or more on our website.
The issue I am experiencing is, if I have a product tagged as “No Promos Applicable on Product”, and a customer purchases it and ends up having an order that would normally qualify for free shipping, the free shipping promo is now being blocked from applying to the order.

I know I could check the box for “No Shipping Charge” on the product level, but that just creates the issue of no shipping charges being applied on orders less than $75, particularly if the customer only purchases one of those bottles…

Catch 22 much?

Any ideas for how I could work this out?

I think you’re going to have to uncheck No Promos Applicable on Product, and then be more specific in all of your Promo definitions, by directly specifying the product or thoughtful use of Departments etc.

There it is right there. Removed “No Promos” and added that product as an exclusion from the individual Promos I didn’t want applied to the product. Cheers
