How to organize orders that are on a weather delay

Anyone have tips on how to organize and keep a list of your orders that you need to hold due to weather delays? This list piles up in the cold winter and hot summer months. It would be helpful to have a status listed as “weather hold”. What are you all doing to keep track in wine direct?

We put them all in “sent to fulfillment” since we don’t use that shipping status for anyone else. Then we have tasks set up for the dates that we expect to ship each weather delay order IF we know in advance when we plan to ship an order

this is exactly what we do as well!

We don’t ring anything up until it is time to ship. We simply have a file on a wall for Future Ship Date and Weather Holds and whoever is doing the shipping checks dates and temps every morning.
