List cleaning question

So last month I bit the bullet and did a Big Clean on my list. I literally cleaned every Blank, and then sent out a general newsletter. At this point I had no Blanks.

This month I am looking at doing an incremental clean on what we have acquired in the last month. I was surprised by the number of Blanks I had, so I downloaded to look at them.

I am very surprised to see many many low Customer numbers in this list. Surely they should have been cleaned before? Many of these date back to 2009 and should have been caught last month if not before that.

Why would this be happening?

Also, there are people in here that are clearly recent purchasers. Why do I have to clean them still?

Here’s an example: customer made a purchase in the tasting room, she gave us her email, she received a receipt, and she opened the email. Why is she Blank?

following this thread. We’ve been having this happen a lot as well…even after cleaning. And with members…who should be extra clean.
