I just set up several new departments today. If I run a Sales Detail or Sales Detail x, though, nothing shows up in the Department cells. Is that because the items weren’t assigned a department at the time they were rung up?
Yep. Item information is captured at the moment of sale and won’t be retroactively updated if you change anything.
