Tax issues - Australia

Hi there,

I’m keen to here from anyone who has had solved the issues with taxable products (Australia)

Our issues are;

1.We want receipts printed to be legal documents, showing taxable items and the taxable amount of the sale. At the moment we have to enter it into to another system to give the customer a legal receipt - double handling and not ideal.
2.We can’t set up products, like merchandise, to have prices that include tax. Is this the case?
3.To add tax of 10% on to products presents massive rounding issues for us, as most products are sold on tax included basis. For example $12.00 inclusive of GST appears as $10.90909090909 excluding GST.

Anyone else in Australia found a way around these issues? Am I missing something?
