Trying to run a USAA cc and it declines the card. It has happened 2 times to the same customer with two different cards. I’ve tried to find the error code and it seems to not have recognized the declined card?? Please help.
Hey @jaymiEmoorE, I took a look at your latest Declined Orders and the error code from Auth.net is referring to “General decline by card issuing bank or by Merchant Service Provider”. Unfortunately, we aren’t getting any more info than that.
If you want to investigate for a full explanation, I’d recommend reaching out to Auth.net and they should be able to provide you with more info as to why they sent back a Declined response.
