As a public service, I’m going to mention that I got an email this morning from Digicert asking me to approve “WD Canada Ecommerce, Inc.” for SSL stuff. I checked with support and it’s legit.

@syd is the man! I do wonder if it isn’t better for those of us who approved our site via e-mail to convert to a practical demo in the way of a TXT file so this sort of email won’t show again, and will not be spoof-able.
@jay @ElJefe there is a new way @syd is able to do this with a CNAME record instead of email approval.
That is exactly what I was referring to - you are right, a CNAME not a TXT record. Close though!
