Beginning yesterday, when we enter a new contact on the admin panel, the user name and password fields are auto-populating. Have not had this issue before so something has had to change. Have seen it on multiple computers one using Chrome, and one using Firefox. Latest browsers on Mac computers.
Do you use a password manager like LastPass or 1Password?

Sean, on one computer yes, on the other, no. The computer that uses the password manager has always used it going on several years and have not had this problem in the past. It is only the login fields that are impacted so there could be a link between the two on the one computer.
The extensions generally auto-update and auto-fill could have been enabled.
