Multiple Emails Field has been removed?

Has anyone else seen their new Multiple Email field removed in WineDirect?

Noticed this yesterday as well, no word from WineDirect as yet?

I inquired yesterday and got this response, “We had to temporarily turn off the additional email field due to some technical issues it was causing to the system. Our engineers are working to have it fixed, and we expect to have it available again later this week.”

Why does WineDirect continually decide to turn off features without explicitly notifying your customers? You have a status page, publish them there: http://status.winedirect.com/

Hey there,

Firstly apologies for not putting up a message to let you know this feature was temporarily turned off (back very soon!). From time to time, we need to make the hard decision to turn off features when undergoing exploratory investigations on their performance.

In this case, rather than trying to deploy a last minute fix before a long weekend, we reserved the fix for Tuesday when the full team was available. This decision involved temporarily disabling the multiple emails feature over the weekend. The status page is now current:

Multiple Emails Temporarily Disabled
On Friday we temporarily disabled the ability to send emails to multiple email addresses for a single contact. We have been working on a fix for this and are pushing it to production.

One of the primary goals at WineDirect is to increase transparency with what is happening within the platform. Going forward, anytime we turn a feature off temporarily or otherwise, we will be sure to update the status page and if necessary, add appropriate messaging. Thank you for your patience here.

On another note, I am thrilled to see that so many wineries have incorporated this feature into their day to day use of the WineDirect platform!

Will emails that were previously entered into the 2nd email field be preserved?

Yes, they absolutely will be preserved.

This has been turned back on for everyone.
