If your customers’ credit card is declined during Change to Ship X, have no fear. Instead of going to the contact record to update the card information, you can now select the card icon with the green plus to change the card information right there. This will work on the order level outside of clubs as well if you don’t use the Change to Ship X feature for club management."
Does this mean that the system will use current credit card information from the customer account? Or will it still look to the card used at the time of the will call order? Manually entering the card at the time of running the tool really doesn’t help… If a cashier has updated their account we no longer have access to the entire card number.
No change in the initial processing on how Flip to Ship X works, you can still process with the same card (on the order) in the same scenario as you do today.
If for whatever reason you want to change the card, you can do so, by either selecting one on file, or entering a new one, overall just an addition to functionality, no change in flow.
Thank you so much for the new feature that allows us to process will call and ship to customers separately. I first asked for this years ago and I am thrilled to be a guinea pig trying it out in just about a week.
Now, if only I could open and edit a club order and save it instead of processing on the spot…
