We had a guest try to place an order. He is in BC but was ordering to send wine to someone in the US. It didn’t allow him to complete the order. Does anyone know why this would happen?
Not sure if this is your same problem… but, if you have Address Verification Service (AVS) setup, (which we do), the billing address has to match the credit card’s billing address. Vin65 doesn’t allow for non-US addresses…
Vin65 does allow for Canadian address you just have to change the website setting (or have Vin65 do it) to allow Canadian provinces. I have had to do this in the reverse situation (US customer wanting to ship to a Canadian address). Everything worked fine. I usually just uncheck the US setting once the order is placed. I have also had a US customer put his US billing address in with a Canadian province and the order went through (and yes we have AVS set-up).
