POS - order type not following the POS profile

Our POS iPads usually remain set to one Profile, but for events we switch them to a special profile so we can keep the sales separated by order type.

When we do this switch, it as if the order type may become unstable for a time. Even though the profile is clearly set correctly, some orders will randomly choose the prior order type setting.

Note that no one is change POS profiles at will, and we NEVER mess with the Additional Order Info.

We have submitted a ticket, but just floating it out there to see if there are any thoughts.

I have managed to recreate this on our test site, I will submit a bug report to get this looked at.
