Action email got sent anyway

Yesterday (8/31) a member emailed me about adding a couple of bottles to her next club order. I took noted it and moved on.

Later I was checking on an abandoned cart issue for another member and had occasion to visit the Action email queue. I saw that the first member had started a cart with the wine they wanted and then abandoned it, and that there was a corresponding Action email queued for sending today (9/1).

So naturally I knew they didn’t need to see that Action email and deleted it from the queue. This was around 2pm or so (yesterday 8/31).

This morning I have an email from that member, replying to the Action email that went out anyway, wondering what was going on.

I can’t see that I did anything wrong. Why did the Action email get sent after I deleted it?
