Database latency?

My client reports that often after they have entered a club member or canceled a club member, the member’s status is not reflected when they are doing a sale for that person in the POS.

Is that possible? If so, how to fix - reboot the device?

WineDirect alleges that they turned off the status updates in November and December for performance reasons. They should now work again as of this week.
