Gift Cards Not Working

We have a customer that has a valid gift card and the card is not being accepted by the system. I have also tested the card code and it is not working for me either. I have reported to support but am wondering if anyone else is seeing this.

Did you know that you have to remove the spaces between the numbers, so that you have a solid number string? We were having the same problem–but if you take out the spaces it should work.

Is this something new? I don’t recall this being the case in the past.

It would seem to be something that needs fixing. These strings are pretty long and most folks will just want to cut and paste the code during checkout.

I don’t know if it’s new, but I was having the same problem and couldn’t
figure it out. I did a support ticket, and they scratched their heads
until they figured it out. Did you try that solution? I agree that the string is long, which makes for lots of error and frustration.

Cut and paste used to work. If it stopped working that is a BUG and must be fixed. @Brent
