How to create a blank template

Using the V2.1 Email template tools can do wonders for speeding up your workflow and improving ease of use for the rest of your team. But it is always a great idea to have a blank template on hand in case you need to build a one-off email that just does not fit into any of your existing templates. This is where a blank template can be your friend!

To set up a blank template, you will first need developer permissions to access the templates page. To do this, you will need to do the following:

  • Navigate to the Settings tab

  • Click on your Admin profile, and then hit Edit

  • Check the Is Developer box, and hit Save

From there, you will need to quick generate a new blank template. This can be done via the following steps:

  • Navigate to the Settings tab

  • Click on Templates

  • Click Quick Setup Email Templates

  • Click Blank Email Templates and hit Setup
