Okay I have a client that is about to jump off a bridge if they can’t get them to work! It seems that VIN65, Apple and the Swiper people all point fingers at each other for it not working! Who has swipers that actually work on an ongoing basis??
@sonyiag - Which swiper are you using? We’ve found that the older one (that plugs into the headphone jack) seems to degrade over time. There is a newer one that plugs into the lightning connector port. We haven’t had clients reach out about this swiper. Did you ever resolve your issue as we’re experiencing the same issue. It is impairing us from going live with Wine Direct.
We have found that plugging in the swiper prior to opening the winedirect app on the ipad has made a huge difference. ours will work fine for awhile and then suddenly stop so we shut down the app and unplug/replug the swiper back in usually resolves the problem. But its an ongoing problem for us for 3 or 4 years now
We have the same problem. It will work great for a few hours, then it will stop working all together. We try unplugging and plugging back in, but sometimes it doesn’t work. We end up using the camera option.
