Last Saturday I was using an iPad POS for an outside event but did not have a CC reader so I was entering the CC manually (it was a slow event) but tried using the CC image option using the camera. The POS application did not follow the normal process and seemingly would not let me complete the transaction - I finally ended up just running the card again manually. Later in the day I tried it again with similar results - the app again appeared to not process (no signature requested) but send a receipt. I asked the customer to check to see if the transaction had recorded at their bank, which they said it did. However, I had no record of the transaction in Vin65. I decided to wait until the next day to check iPayment to see. It was not recorded.
Meanwhile, the first customer calls me on Monday to say she was charged twice, but both Vin65 and iPayment only show one charge. Any ideas?
