Hey guys, in case you missed it, WineDirect had a great live webinar (available below) earlier today announcing some of the progress they made in 2018 and what’s on the horizon for 2019.
Maybe the most exciting part of the announcement are the new much-requested features that will go live tomorrow, the 17th.

Hide disabled promos would be a deal breaker for us. Support ticket submitted.
Scenario 1 – Setting up a series of promos for the future.
- We are running a sale next week starting at midnight. They get x% off and if they buy 12+, they get 1¢ shipping.
- These 2 promos have to be coupled together.
- It would be impossible to couple them together until 12:01am next week.
Scenario 2 – Club Members save extra and get shipping breaks on additional purchases of their current release for 30 days after each release. They release quarterly.
- This requires two coupled promos that will be activated and inactivated quarterly for 30 day periods.
- Other promos that are storewide sales may or may not be able to be used alongside these in cart.
- First of all, I would get stuck coupling the 2 promos in step 1 unless I’m setting them up only when it’s ready to go. I can’t stage it for future with a future start date.
- Secondly, when I build the sale in #2, I will need to couple it with the reorder discounts from #1, which may or may not be active at that given moment.
Also, it is hiding promos that expire ‘today’ incorrectly. It doesn’t show them in the coupling, but they are indeed active still.
