On Hold Members & Carrots

The majority of our on hold club members still receive their club benefits for a limited period of time. When you put a member on hold it labels them as a Repeat Customer even though we still consider them a Club Member. This confuses my newer staff.

I am pretty sure I have seen this brought up before but don’t remember seeing a solution. So if the below has already suggested just ignore it.

I created a carrot for on hold members that says “Club 13 Membership on hold. Still receives Benefits”. This now shows up on the POS & admin panel when their account is pulled up. The one hiccup is that when you are setting this up you cannot use “in Clubs” selection, just select “on hold” under “club membership status”

Now if I could create a carrot for a contact type…

It is confusing. I’ve brought it up with WD, I feel like an on-hold member needs to be flagged as such. More feature requests can’t hurt.

Your carrot solution is cool. I’ve been doing it by flag since we have to record notes about the hold anyway.

Guess what I discovered today… You can create a carrot for a contact type! This just made my day.
