"Hold End" Question

Hi all, does anyone know exactly how the “Hold End” option works with someone’s club membership? For instance, if someone’s membership is on hold and the “Hold End” date is 03/01/18, does the membership reactivate at 12:01 am on 03/01 or does it stay on hold through 03/01 and reactivate on 12:01 am 03/02?

Dunno. Use your test membership and see what happens. I try to avoid this issue by 1. don’t set an end anywhere near a shipment date (if I ship on 4/15 I set the end to 4/1). 2. Don’t use hold end. Maybe 5% of the time a member knows exactly when they want the hold to end, otherwise we need to contact them or be contacted to restart. So I set the end to 10 years from now and set a Flag note.

For anyone who cares, it’s the latter. If you set someone’s “Hold End” date as 03/01, their membership won’t reactivate until 12:01 am on 03/02. I think instead of “Hold End” it should be “Hold Through” or something along those lines, to better indicate what happens when you set that date.
