Online will call orders aren't showing an order to be picked up in the persons account

We have noticed that when someone places a will call order online that it just shows a paid order in that persons account. It doesn’t create a flag that there is an order for that person to pick up. Is there a way to mark these orders as needing to be picked up?

You can search for orders in the Store > Orders > you can adjust the filters to search for orders that haven’t been picked up yet. Usually in the POS and Admin Panel there should be a flag popping up on the customer that would say that the order needs to be picked up. If the order was placed online, it’s possible the customer didn’t choose a pickup status for their order but it’s hard to tell without looking at the order. Some wineries setup a Will Call “pickup” status but it’s truly a shipping status rather than a pickup order so that would be why a flag wouldn’t appear and I’d say that might be why.
