Currently trying to put up some new photo galleries to my website. Every time I try to make my page live it produces a large white box with a loading symbol in the middle, it will stay like that pretty much forever. The photos have been saved for web, they are 72 dpi. I am looking for any exact parameters the photo galleries need or any ideas as to why none of the new galleries I’ve made are working. Thanks!
Make sure your filenames have no spaces in them.
I like using dashes instead, as in “zany-club-members-having-fun.jpg”.
The filename issue to not have spaces in the images shouldn’t be a problem anymore, Vin65 has made some improvements in that end of things (but doesn’t hurt to follow that pattern of no spaces). The issue could have to do with your file types. Vin65 works best with .png or .jpg formats and while it does support .gif files I tend to use .png files most. The fact that the loading symbol is appearing leads me to believe there’s something else going on with the gallery component on your site.
That’s the most help I can give you for now without more info.
