I’m logged into siteadmin11 after looking up a contact. Next I navigate to Reports then choose Inventory Sold.

Log back in. Oh look, still siteadmin11. Navigate to run my report, set up parameters. Generate.

Everything is green and flat on system status. Siteadmin load is barely above 0.
Your load balancing and/or status instrumentation needs some tweaking. I’m going to suggest others post here in hopes that you get some useful feedback. Cheers.
@brent@Karson in the interest of learning something constructive… Every time, before I run a report that might be considered “large”, I log back in to presumably get a server with a lesser load. That’s a good thing, right?
Or maybe it isn’t? By changing servers maybe I’m losing out on data already cached in this session? Maybe I should not log back in?
Or maybe is there some set of steps we can do before running El Reporto Grande? Something to let it buildup some cached data and improve the chance of success?
It always seems that when I do get a report to run, it runs pretty quickly. It’s like it’s all or nothing…
@ElJefe This is definitely an issue with this specific report, the server itself is fine and processing tons of other requests with good response times, so in this case the status of the server is green and the performance shows no issues. I’ll work with the team to see what the issue is with this specific report and see if we can put in some quick tuning fix to get the report to complete before the hard timeout of 60 seconds.
OK. I appreciate that. Just know that it isn’t just this report for me. In fact on this one I haven’t seen timeouts until recently. More often it is Sales by Date and Detail X. Thanks.
@ElJefe Can you let me know what date ranges you typically are using for each report. 1 day, 1 month, 1 year etc… I’ll run some tests to see how long these reports take under no load and under heavy load.
