I want to sell tickets thru our website for our wine club party, it is on a weekend and they can choose from either Saturday or Sunday. I have read through a lot of these threads and i think i have discovered the best option? i just want to make sure. Any feedback would be great!
In the past, we have created an allocation and attached ticket SKUs to it, but this is posing issues lately.
So what i have gathered is that i should create a new product called “April 2018 Release Party” with proper beginning and ending dates under properties. And then within that product, create 2 separate SKUs, one called “event:EventTicketSaturday” and one called event:EventTicketSunday. The max amount they can buy is 4 so i would put 4 in the max field. Also, can i make it so that these skus show up under the “wine club tickets” tab on our website by checking that particular box under Categories in General?
We generally make separate Event Ticket products for each time, and title them accordingly. It makes the times explicit. Be sure to set an inventory for the product under Manage SKUs!
I would agree - any derivation whether time or price has a different sku and product. I was just thinking you can have a Ticket Page i.e. “wine club tickets” of more than one ticket if use that as the set link from the Event and not the product link. I’ve used relevant products and just cross link in the description.
