Is there a way to designate a specific shipper i.e. UPS of FedEx for club shipments?
When you set up a club shipment, one of the fields to complete in the Shipment Setup tab is the shipping strategy that you want to use for that shipment. In order to specify a carrier, you have to create a shipping strategy for that carrier and then use that shipping strategy when you set up your club processing. can this be done at the customer level and done once so as to not have to change each time there is an order? We have some customers that request a specific carrier.
Yes this is under the manage club membership section of the customer profile. There is a field called “Override Shipping Type” This is where you can select a different shipping type for this specific customer.
