I just discovered this today, and I thought others might benefit from the knowledge. In the current implementation of Vin65, you must sell and ship every non-wine product to every state. You can turn off sales/shipping of Wine products to certain states (either all wine products, or on an individual product basis) but there is no way to do this for non-wine products. So if you sell logo-wear, olive oil, or corkscrews, you can only deter the sale/shipping by making the shipping costs extremely high–but there is no way to actually prevent it.
I had intuitively (naively) thought that if you didn’t have a shipping zone that covered the particular state, that the product wouldn’t ship to that state. Oh no! In fact, almost the opposite since the shipping cost is $0 to states that aren’t included in any shipping zone! Seller beware.
