Gift Memberships Marked As Pending

We are running into an issue with the gift membership feature where memberships are marked as pending, even when they have been accepted. I think the issue is due in part to people marking clubs as gifts but sending them to their own email, so the gift giver and the recipient are the same account. The other problem with this is that I am unable to edit the shipping information, because it says I need to be under the recipient’s account (which I am, but it’s also the person that gave the gift). Has anyone else run into these issues and resolved them?

Hi Liz … did you resolve the troubles you were having? We are facing similar issue … not sure if giftee is receiving gift confirmation email where they click, set up their own account and accept the club gift. Would love to hear more details on the ins-out of the gift club membership feature – not much seems to be listed in the documentation.
